Material of Construction for Hydraulic Cylinders & Power Pack Units
Cylinder Barrel:
Made of cold drown seamless pipe honed to mirror finish (ST 52, 106)
Tie Rods:
Made of special alloy steel and are prepossessed at assembly to minimize possible elongation.
Piston Rod:
Made of medium carbon steel, ground and hard chrome plated. Plating layer 35 micron.
Gland Seals:
Made of polyurethane RUS 'U' cup seal which has primary and secondary lip for maximum flexibility also in viton.
Piston:
Made of fine carbon steel
Rod Seals:
'U' cup or step seals as per the, operation requirement.
Cover Plates:
Made of mild steel end constructed with sturdy design to withstand high pressure load.
Wiper Seals:
Made of polyurethane rubber to prevent any dust particles from entering inside.
Caps:
Made of mild steel, precision machined to assure perfect alignment of piston rod and cylinder bore.

Pressure Rating:
Standard hydraulic cylinders are rated at 160 bar. Cylinders for higher pressure ratings up 600 bar can be manufactured.
Bore:
Ø 25 mm to Ø 300 mm in standard range
Temperature:
The seal of standard cylinders can withstand up to 70°C. Cylinders with special seals can be manufactured for higher operating temperatures up to 350°C
Stroke:
Up to 6000 mm can be designed and manufactured
